During the summer of 2005 Spirit Wind Ministries expanded, holding its first ever Michigan camp session. The camp was held at Camp Bethel located in rural Michigan outside of Alpena. Pastor Doug Bliss, who serves at River of Life Christian Church in Alpena led the camp along with Camp Director, Miss Brenda Rost.
