At Spirit Wind Ministries our vision is to minister to children and youth through camp programs that instill uncompromising Christian values. Emphasis of Spirit Wind Camps is on spiritual growth, developing campers’ relationship with Christ, and making friends with other believers!

Every summer Spirit Wind serves children and youth, giving them an unforgettable week of experiences.  All children and youth are welcome at Spirit Wind camps, including those who are economically deprived, neglected, abused, and or who are emotionally needy.

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to go to camp.  Each year God uses camp as a safe place where kids learn, grow in faith, build relationships, and have fun.

Spirit Wind Summer Camp: Impacting Lives Since 1989

No child will ever be turned away from Spirit Wind Camp for lack of funds.
 Any available scholarship funds are offered to abused or disadvantaged children, and to families who demonstrate need for financial assistance.

Camp Scholarship Gifts

Each year we have children and youth who desire to come to camp
but who cannot afford to.
Through the generous gifts of others Spirit Wind is able to give these children an
unforgettable week of camp! If you would like to be a part of sending a child who cannot otherwise afford to go to camp please contact Judy Smith at  judys@spiritwindministries.org.

Counselors are a diverse group of hand-picked individuals who are active in their
 respective churches. Criteria for being a camp counselor at Spirit Wind are:

Be a born again Christian

Love children and have a desire to help them develop their Christian life

Be above reproach in character

Be a committed and active member of a church body

Spirit Wind Camp is open to all children and youth.

Our camp has developed a reputation for excellence in ministry, and the emphasis we place on developing the spiritual lives of the children. Our view is that even very young children can develop in and have an understanding of spiritual matters. With this in mind, we expect and welcome the Holy Spirit’s leading and direction at camp, especially in the daily services. In the last several years, a large number of campers have received a call into full-time ministry while at Spirit Wind Camp, leading to our broadening of the camp vision to acknowledge Spirit Wind Camp as “a place of calling.” Rounding out the camp activities are swimming, hiking, team sports, crafts, and campfires.
